👉  Check out this page with some common tests you can use:

Choose the test that best aligns with your current concerns. Each test consists of a few simple questions and can be completed in just a few minutes.

If you feel comfortable sharing your results with the group, please do so. Remember to save the result for yourself to monitor the progress over time.

After this program, you may want to retake the test to gauge your progress and see how your mental health has evolved.

What is CBT and why is it effective?

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a goal-orientated, well-researched, and evidence-based treatment effective in common mental disorders, such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, and stress-related disorders. It is based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are closely linked and influence each other. It helps people recognize unhelpful patterns and break them down so people can develop healthier coping mechanisms and improve their quality of life.

Principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is grounded in a set of core principles. As outlined by the American Psychological Association (APA), these are:

  1. Psychological problems are based, in part, on faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking.
  2. Psychological problems are based, in part, on learned patterns of unhelpful behavior.
  3. People suffering from psychological problems can learn better ways of coping with them, thereby relieving their symptoms and becoming more effective in their lives.
